Autoinjectors
What are autoinjectors?
Autoinjectors are an easy way to deliver hormones. They are a spring-loaded device that provides a subcutaneous injection at the push of a button. Using an autoinjector can take the hesitation and fear out of self-administering injections.
How to use an autoinjector —
Draw up the hormone(s) to be delivered into a fixed-needle syringe, load it into the spring-loaded device, prep the area for subcutaneous injection (belly, butt, etc.), and push the auto-inject button. The autoinjector takes care of the rest. More info about autoinjectors here.
What you will need —
One reusable autoinjector
Disposable fixed-needle syringes
Alcohol swabs
Sharps container
